Asher Jasper Mini Wool Animals

Tonight after the kids went to bed I was searching through a couple blogs and I found the cutest little wool animals ever! Asher Jasper makes these adorable toys and they come perfectly packaged for easter. Mommy Works wrote up a wonderful review and is having a giveaway for one of the little ball animals. You can get them as single animals in sets or even with a play area. I really think these are so cute and I know my little boy would love to get them in his Easter baskets and I know that I would rather have some of these cute natural toys then some processed candy!

Slow and Steady

Even though Friday has come...and will all too quickly go I am not yet ready to put my website up yet. For good news though, I have been able to make quite a bit of progress. I have created 3 more designs and have about 10 of my starting 40 products totally ready to go. I'm getting more and more excited to get it all done. I'm not going to set another date because I wouldn't want to have to postpone it again but I am working on it as much as possible. Devon (my husband) was laughing at me last night because he said that it has taken me longer to set up my small business than it has for him to set up his full business (he started his own landscaping company). At first I was a little frustrated because I feel that it has taken me forever but then I stopped and thought about it and why it takes me so long. Then I remember oh yeah! It's because I'm a MOM first and a business owner 2nd and because of that it's hard for me to even get 2 hrs at a time to work on what I need, let alone 10-12 hrs. a day like he gets. So that made me feel a little better. That's why I like what I do because it allows me the opportunity to be a mom first. With that being said I will get my website and new etsy store out as soon as possible. For the time being though, look at one of my new designs.

For orders to Canada I charge 7.00 but it is sent First class mail, instead of Priority.

All other orders are usually around 10.00, and also are shipped First class. This shipping usually take 5-10 days.

Let the Designing Begin!!!

I am so excited! Today I finally got my new software to help me design my vinyl easier. Did I say I was excited....because I am! I had a trial version of the software and just as I started to get the hang of the program my trial was over. Then I had to wait until I saved up enough to get the real thing, software can be SO expensive. It is totally worth it but I still get sticker shock from it sometimes. So, watch out over the next couple of days I'll be hopefully able to bust out some new designs.

So this is the real start to my vinyl blog. I am hoping to post on here everyday or at least 3 times a week. I will post about my vinyl work, ups and downs, new designs, things that inspire me and also GIVEAWAYS. Everyone loves a good giveaway so I will try to create post linking you to other people's blogs that I like that are having giveaways. From time to time I will also host my own giveaways which will be so much fun!
